TRENCHLESS
TECHNOLOGY
One of the keys to being successful is to continuously
look for a better way to do the job. Hallen Construction was one of the first
contractors to introduce directional drilling to the local utility companies.
Over the years, Hallen drill crews have gained a tremendous amount of drilling
experience, tackling projects that include gas mains and services, electric
conduits, and telecommunication ducts. These projects have allowed Hallen
Construction to maintain state of the art drilling equipment.
Hallen's trenchless technology isn't limited to directional drilling.
We own and operate auger boring equipment, pipe ramming equipment, pipe
splitting equipment, and various sizes of accu-punch tools. The auger
boring equipment ranges in size from 12” through 60”. The auger boring process
has been used to install casings of various sizes under railroads, roadways,
and major highways. The pipe ramming technology is used in projects similar to
those that would use the auger boring and is dictated by the pipe diameter and
the length of the run. The pipe splitting technology is available and has been
used when requested by the local utility companies. The small 2”- 4” pneumatic
piercing tools are used everyday by our service crews to install new services
or relay existing services in a manner that reduces disruption and damage to
the homeowners' property, saves restoration costs, and improves customer satisfaction.
Our array of trenchless tools allows our customers to choose the right trenchless
procedure for the project they need completed.
